Benchmark Sp. z o.o., Hanasiewicza 15, 35-103 Rzeszów, Poland, NIP 8133702082, is the controller. Contact biuro@benchk.com or +48 536 560 089 about privacy. This policy covers the shop, enquiries, quotations, orders, returns and affiliate programme.
Data, purposes and legal bases
We process contact/address details, order/payment and support information, business/VAT details, limited technical data and consent choices. Orders and pre-contract enquiries rely on GDPR Article 6(1)(b); tax, record-keeping and consumer obligations on 6(1)(c); security, claims and legitimate business administration on 6(1)(f). Optional newsletters and analytics requiring consent rely on 6(1)(a). Details necessary to fulfil an order are required for that service. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase.
Services and recipients
We use Shopify for checkout, orders and payments, Vercel for application hosting, Cloudflare/R2 for files and private submissions, Resend for email, and PostHog EU for analytics. Vercel Web Analytics also collects cookie-free statistics. To measure visits, purchases and advertising performance we also use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) in Google consent mode: without consent it sends only signals without cookies or device identifiers (legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), while its cookies and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) run only after “Accept all” (consent, GDPR Article 6(1)(a)); for a purchase, Google then receives the order number, value and products, without the buyer’s name, address or email. Selected payment providers, DPD/UPS and accounting support receive the information necessary for their work. Our website forms do not store full card details. Links and voluntarily activated YouTube/Trimble content involve separate providers.
Location and international transfers
Some services use European infrastructure, but this does not mean all processing remains exclusively in the EU. Providers including Shopify can store or process data in the United States and other countries outside the EEA. Transfers outside the EEA use applicable safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards. Enabled Shopify Network Intelligence features can use data under Shopify's terms to improve services, personalization and ad targeting, subject to applicable privacy choices.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary browser storage supports the cart and privacy preferences. Optional persistent analytics identifiers can be accepted, rejected or revoked through Cookie settings in the footer. Affiliate referrals are stored on your device only with the corresponding consent. As explained in the banner, limited statistics without persistent identifiers can be processed on a legitimate-interest basis; technical data is not necessarily anonymous. Newsletter consent is separate and can be withdrawn through unsubscribe or by contacting us.
Retention and rights
We normally retain enquiries for up to three years after correspondence ends unless a contract, legal obligation or claim requires longer. Order/accounting records follow statutory retention periods. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn or its purpose ends, with necessary suppression records retained. Subject to GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may complain to Poland's UODO or the relevant supervisory authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Payment or financing providers explain their own decision-making separately.
